The original Ritchey WCS Chicane stem offers cyclists an innovative design that delivers increased aerodynamics paired with a stealthy aesthetic. In a nod to riders wishing for a more traditional steerer interface, the new WCS Chicane B2 moves away from the original Chicane’s hidden internal steerer wedge clamp by employing a two-bolt steerer clamp. The new Chicane B2 retains the smooth hinged faceplate and elegant aesthetic of its innovative sibling for a more aero interface with the bar – improving drag reduction. It’s a stylish party up front, with practical business in the back.
Inspired by life, the new Chicane B2 uses the same legendary 220° clamping interface found on many other Ritchey stems. This not only confidently grasps the bar more securely with reduced stress, but it also is less likely to damage carbon bars. Forged from lightweight 2014 alloy, the Chicane B2 beautifully marries performance, style and practicality to deliver a beautiful stem that’s as sleek as it is fast.
